Do I have to collect the Pod?

You do not need to collect or return the Pod. We will bring the Pod to you and set it up for you and make sure everything is working before leaving it for your booked period. We will collect the Pod back from you once your booking is over.

Do you deliver to my area?

Delivery within 40 miles is included in the cost, anything over this is charged a flat mileage rate.

What do I need to be able to hire a pod?

You’ll need a flat, stable surface large enough for the pod, plus access within 25 metres to electricity, an outside tap and a wastewater drain. If you don’t have an outside tap or nearby drain, don’t worry. We may be able to install a tap for a small additional charge, and alternative wastewater solutions can also be discussed if needed.

How long can I hire the pod for?

As long as you need! We understand that renovations rarely take a couple of days so if you need it for several weeks that’s fine by us. We recommend discussing with your fitter the timeline of your install to make sure you have the pod at the right time. We always try and accommodate extensions to your booking where possible, but this can’t be guaranteed.

What does the Pod use for power?

For ease and safety our pods run on electricity only, so you don’t need to worry about gas bottles and finding replacements. It simply plugs into your own home supply via 3 pin plugs and has its own fuse board, so you are fully protected.

What comes in the pod?

The Pod is fitted with a residential kitchen with storage units for you to pop your pots, pans and small appliances in, so it really feels like home! In addition, we include a sink, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and hob and oven along with heating so you can be cosy whilst you cook.

Does the Pod come with Pots, Pans, Dishes etc?

Customers like to feel at home in our pods so we don’t add lots of clutter so that you can use it like your own kitchen! We all have our favourite Mug for our morning tea or coffee, having a pod is designed to make you feel at home during a time of inconvenience.

Will I have hot water?

Yes! Our Pods are fitted with water heaters sufficient to provide hot running water to fill a sink but we like to make things easy for you so there is a dishwasher available to take the strain!

Do you provide a weekly cleaning service?

We find that most customers prefer to use the pod and clean it as they would their own home but we are happy to discuss whether a weekly cleaning service is feasible.

How much does the hire of a Pod cost?
